Broadway/San Diego proudly announces the 2008-2009 Season sponsored by San Diego County Credit Union, featuring Broadway’s Biggest Hits coming to BOTH the Civic Theatre AND the gorgeously restored Balboa Theatre!

In just a few short weeks we will resume our 2007-2008 season at the San Diego Civic Theatre, and launch our NEW 2008-2009 Season at both the Civic and the Historic Balboa Theatres – take a look at what we have in store.

Andrew Lloyd Weber and Phantom featured on American Idol!

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will be featured on tonight’s national broadcast of “American Idol” on FOX as Andrew Lloyd Webber appears as the special guest mentor (airing tonight, Tuesday, April 22, starting at 8PM EST).

The remaining "Idol" finalists will be performing his songs during the hour-long show.

The episode will also feature footage as he guides the contestants as they practice on the set of Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular in Vegas. Tomorrow night’s results show (Wednesday, April 23, 9PM EST) will again feature Lloyd Webber with the contestants.
