Carlsbad native David Poznanter plays the Train Engineer in next weeks presentation of CIRQUE DREAMS: ILLUMINATION~ his apparatus is the cyr wheel which is a giant ring he rolls around the stage. He does a routine called ALL ABOARD – rolling around in his ring. David trained in acrobatics with the Xue Ming Acrobatic Troupe in Beijing, China. He has studied, performed and trained in theatre, circus, dance and music in Switzerland, Belgium and Brazil and speaks 6 languages. He has created and is proud to be debuting the role of the singing, acrobatic, rolling “train engineer” in Cirque Dreams Illumination playing at the San Diego Civic Theatre April 13-18.
