🎤 The Jimmy Awards® Student Reporter Search
The Student Reporter Program is an opportunity for students that provides aspiring journalists, writers, photographers, and content creators with hands-on experience covering the Broadway San Diego Awards season. Throughout the year, selected applicants will have the opportunity to attend participating high school productions, interview students and educators, and produce digital content celebrating musical theatre across San Diego County. They will also get the chance to create written features and reviews working alongside the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle.
Following the Broadway San Diego Awards season, the selected Student Reporter will have the opportunity to apply for the national Jimmy Awards® Student Reporter Program. If selected, they will travel to New York City to cover the Jimmy Awards® experience and share behind-the-scenes stories from one of the nation’s premier high school musical theatre events.
